What we do
Chipping
Our crews in the main forestry operation are a 3 to 6 man crew for each loading area.
Typical crews man the grapple, skidder, and chipper.
Grinding
Grinding operations produce fuel to generate electrical power at area mills.
Grinding utilizes specialized heavy equipment to reduce woody biomass, such as trees, branches, stumps, and brush, into smaller, more manageable pieces.
Hauling
Our fleet of Western Star trucks and trailers haul roundwood (logs) to the Thunder Bay Sawmill and chip trucks run biomass to fuel the power plant at the Thunder Bay Pulp and Paper Mill.
